Global warming means a gradual increase in overall Earth’s temperature. Global warming is caused by both humans as well as natural activities. However, human activities such burning fossil fuels, deforestation, are more responsible for global warming than natural calamities (cosmic rays and volcanic events). Prothero asserts that “volcanoes erupt only 0.3 billion tons of carbon dioxide each year, but humans emit over 29 billion tons a year, roughly 100 times as much” (17).Therefore, it is quite clear that we have a bigger effect on climate .In this essay, after analyzing human causes of global warming, I will discuss some bad impacts along with few possible solutions to tackle this problem.
