The present document aims to define basically the general operations Plan of the Netflix Service Company, a global provider of movies, series and documentaries online by Internet, through the use of any device as a computer, tablet or cell phone in which consumers can gain access on demand.
In the case of Netflix company of study, is considered the operations plan under the premise of differentiation and with the objectives supported of the area of operations, defined as cost reduction, quality search and customer service improvement, being considered as a strategic or competitive priority.
The case of study analyse three specific objectives:
• Quantity and quality of content conforming films, series and documentaries
• Ability of the platform to develop own content
• Service must be customized for customers
The objectives must support short, medium and long term strategies by defining percentage of the development to be fulfilled. The following table exemplifies a example.
